Introduction

Jamia Sufiya is a prestigious Islamic educational institution dedicated to the study and promotion of Sufism (Tasawwuf). The institution was officially inaugurated on December 12, 2012, under the guidance of His Eminence Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf, a highly respected Sufi scholar and spiritual leader. Though the groundwork for the institute was laid earlier, this date marks its formal establishment as an internationally recognized center for Islamic and Sufi education.

Located at Dargah Kichhauchha Sharif in Uttar Pradesh, India, Jamia Sufiya is considered the first dedicated Sufi university in the world.
