Spiritual Foundation

All praises are due to Almighty Allah that He provided, Faqir Ashrafi Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf Bin Syed Muhamid Ashraf Ashrafi Al-Jilani Kichouchavi (settled in A/451, Indira Nagar, Lucknow, U.P.) with an opportunity to dedicate 28 years of his life to religious activities-propagation, establishing religious institutions, taking corrective and constructive measures for guiding people, founding organizations, teaching at religious institutions, engaging himself in academic works, Peeri Mureedi (administering oath of allegiance) journalistic engagements, and a host of other social and economic services.

He has met various people, visited different countries, and seen different cultures. He is well armed with experiences in various fields of life, has suffered and enjoyed life well-both with his companions and all alone to himself. He has been roaming with a hungry heart to explore new things, to give very good basis of life to the posterity. By virtue of his visit and contact with people, he has reached a conclusion that in spite of scientific advancement, people are badly shattered. The glory of life is fading away, the values crumbling to pieces, human beings lack essential moral virtues and venomous forces are tearing apart the well-woven fabric of society.

A ghastly sight! The sense of brotherhood, respect for humanity, spiritual and cultural heritage, and ethics-everything is on a sad decline. People are busy demolishing the basis of life, reducing the order to chaos. It is all nerve shattering.

I had two ways in front of me the way of peace by clinging to traditions and conventions and the other one-the path of strife and struggle.
