Practical Work of the Three Sons: a brief overview

Respected Readers!
I am in the last stages of my life, and so would like to inform all my friends, associates,
disciples, followers and the advisors and contributors of Spiritual Foundation and Jamia Sufiya
about the educational activities and services of this World and religion of my three sons. All praise
be to Allah; they have been granted with the external and internal knowledge, and Allah with His
Kindness and Generosity has blessed them with merits and excellences based on their capabilities,
courage, efforts and struggles. All three of them are righteous, modest, polite, respectful, filled
with the determination to serve humanity and are seen maintaining ties of kinship by assisting their
relatives and near ones. With the aforementioned positive attributes, they have also been working
with devotion and commitment in the promotion and progress of educational and academic
institutes. They are often seen prepared for any level of strive and struggle in this path; however
according to me, their most commendable quality is that they are far away from arrogant thoughts
and deeds, which are generally the direct results of the statement: “My Father was a King”
(Pedram Sultan Bud). In my opinion, it is this humble attitude that will grant them success on the
path of their predecessors, which is indeed the path of Allah

Praising the Sons?

Dear Readers! This is not an emotional nor some artificial verses of praises for my sons,
but it is a reality that by nature, they remain away from personal scuffles and attritions. Hitherto,
the three brothers are not seen involved in unnecessary discussions, but have made the fields of
teaching and learning as the main purpose of their lives. Its positive results are witnessed by the
three brothers themselves, as they are rewriting new history with their successes. For example:

Syed Muhammad Yazdani Ashraf is working with devotion for the success and prosperity of
Spiritual Foundation in Lucknow and Dargah Kichhauchha Sharif, Qadriya Hosspital and
Jamia Sufiya. He is also wholeheartedly active in the proposed project of Makhdoom Ashraf
Unani Medical College and other assignments. Along with the services of religion society, he has also taken time out for politics and social activities. Since his return from the
UK, he has started land developing and building construction business as well

Presently Syed Muhammad Samnani Ashraf is busy in dealing with the management of
Spiritual Foundation and Dar-ul-UloomDiwan Shah in Bhiwandi (Mumbai). He has been
leading and working with the board of trust, and plans to establish schools and colleges in the
future.

Syed Muhammad Husaini Ashraf has been shouldering the heavy responsibilities of
managing and organising Spiritual Foundation and Jamia Sufiya (UK) with courage and
strength. He is also fulfilling his religious, social and educational obligations through
guidance and advices, spiritual allegiances and devotion (Bay’ah), lectures, preaching,
teaching and training. Not only in the UK and European countries, but Husaini Miya is
alsoleading, establishing and managing various spiritual institutes during his frequent
spiritual visits to countries in North America and Africa. He is also planning to expand and
develop Jamia Sufiya (UK) in the near future. The survey work for the establishment of Jamia
Sufiya in Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium and Netherland is under process. All
praise be to Allah! Active and hardworking Islamic scholars and academics of every country
are directly in communication with the beloved Husaini Miya.

The path of Lord is not bed of flowers

Indeed, Husaini Miya has time, the manpower of the active team, various opportunities
and means and resources, however it should be mentioned as an advice that the path of Lord is no
bed of flowers. One has to pass through pains and sufferings; and I consider this to be the key to
triumph and success. Yes, indeed there is no comfort and easiness until a servant does not face
hardships and tests, because this is the wisdom of Allah that comfort is given to only those, who go
through difficulties

Jamia Sufiya: Past, Present and Future

To clarify it must be noted that to begin the educational session of Jamia Sufiya, eminent,
experienced and responsible scholars and academics (this souvenir mentions their names) were
appointed, so that the level of education is not comprised. Those eminent and senior scholars are
not amongst us today as they have left this temporary World.
By the grace of Allah, even in this drought of finding able men, JamiaSufiya has been
blessed with an active and enthusiastic leader in the form of Syed Waqif Ali Bedayouni, who has
been diligently working on the syllabus of Islamic and modern sciences as well as been taking part
in embedding it with moral and spiritual attributes and inheritance. Syed Sahab belongs to thetown
of Syedpur, a district of the city of Bedayoun, and was born in a respected family of Sa’daat (family
of the Prophet ?). The ancestral simplicity and nobleness of his respected father Syed Iqraar
Hussain Sahab has been inherited and is visible on all the brothers including himself. The eldest,
Akbar Atif Miya, the middle son Waqif Miya and the youngest Asghar Danish Miya; may Allah
grant them in abundance the goodness of both Worlds. Ameen
The educational and organisational matters of JamiaSufiya have been handled by Mufti
Syed Waqif Ali in an efficient and systematic manner. May Allah grant him more strength and
courage. Ameen

Publication of the monthly al-Mizan

All praise be to Allah! It must be informed to all the readers, writers and those familiar with
al-Mizan that, it has remained under publication as far as regulations are concerned and will be
available for reading as soon as possible.
The monthly al-Mizan is not only a magazine, but the heartbeat of the Majority Muslim
Community (Sawad-e-Azam), it is a movement and a revolutionary organ, a representative of
righteous and healthy thoughts, a tough force for evil ideologies and guardian of kindness and
mercy amongst each other (Ruhumabaynahum). We request for prayers that may al-Mizan become the ornament of your hands very soon. Ameen

Dear Readers! A beloved name, which makes me emotional is the respected Alhaaj Syed
Safeer Ashraf Kichhauchhvi, who was amongst the early individuals, who took the first step in the
fields of education and development of Jamia Sufiya. In 2005, as the constructional work was at its
peak, we were struck with difficulties (as if it started hail stoning as soon as the heads were
shaved), yet Syed Safeer Ashraf gave me encouragement and contributed physically, verbally and
financially. He walked alongside with me without any bother and rose above any forms of
reproach. He never looked back and has continued this process of assistance and contribution till
now. Another active and energetic individual from a respected family in the city of Tanda, Syed
Tariq Miya has also maintained his sincere and deep affiliations with Jamia. Although Tariq Miya
is a successful business man and has a busy schedule, but he would take out his time without caring
about profit and loss to support Jamia Sufiya in every practical way.
Spiritual Foundation and all the blueprints of its projects, interior structure, and the design
of all the projects based on the Abjad numerical values of the names of Allah is in itself an
exemplary and unique work in the field of Architect Engineering. This was carried out with a Sufi
approach and mind by the respected Alhaaj Sheikh Yaseen Noor Mohammad (former Chief
Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Bhiwandi. All the designs and construction works of Jamia was
always under his supervision from the beginning. Sheikh Yaseen is also a founding trustee of
Spiritual Foundation. Similarly, Alhaaj Yunus Farouqi was also a founding trustee, whose works
and services are seen with respect in the city of Bhiwandi. Respected Tariq Farouqi is his eldest
son, with four more sons by the names of Dr. Asif Farouqi, Mohammad Amir Farouqi, Mohammad
Aqil Farouqi and Mohammad AdilFarouqi. They have all been contributing towards the welfare
and charitable agenda of Spiritual Foundation. May Allah bless them with peace and favours.

I remember in 1994, when I first met with the late Muhammad Rafeeq Mistri and spoke to
him about buying lands for the construction of a small building. RafeeqMistri was the only local
architect and engineer available, who assisted in the clearance of the first architectural plan in
Ashrafpur, Kichhauchha Town Area (or Rasoolpur) with his expertise and experience; which
resulted in the construction of a building by the name of ‘Bayt-ul-Noor’. The eldest son of Rafeeq
Mistri, Mohammad Taufeeq is currently busy in the management role within the campus of Jamia
Sufiya.
The keeper and caretaker of the resting place of Makhdoom Ashraf (Allah’s Mercy be upon
him), Sufi Himaitullah Ashrafi Kichhauchhvi , who has been taking care of visitors from the
country and abroad with honesty, respect and honour since the year 1985. Nowadays his son
Alhaaj Kumail has taken the lead and is currently performing the duty of serving the visitors based
on the honesty of his father. May Allah guide everyone and grant them peace. Ameen
